These values are based on the criteria used for the technical approval (ATG) of new insulation products. They form a technical frame of reference that evolves along with knowledge, experience and changing building practices. For reuse, they provide a basis for comparison to assess performance and uncertainties. Depending on the application and the associated risks, the values can be interpreted within the design.
