EPS (2001) - 10 cm - flat roof
EPS board, 10 cm thick, mechanically fixed and covered with glass fleece bituminised on one side.
The insulation boards lay on top of insulated roof panels, on which the roof covering lay.
Proposed performance for reuse
Thermal conductivity: 0.0418 W/mK
Compressive strength: ≥ 38 kPa
Dimensional stability: At high temperature (70°C) and high relative humidity (90%), there is mainly a risk of expansion in the thickness direction (> 1%). In the length and width directions and at low temperature (-20°C), the risk of severe deformation is generally limited.
Water absorption: Absorbs moisture quickly during prolonged contact with water, with most of the water absorption measured after 28 days already taking place within the first 24 hours.
