EPS (1994) - 15 cm - flat roof
EPS board, 15 cm thick, bonded with adhesive and with aluminium facing.
The insulation boards were cut in half using a foam cutter.

Thermal conductivity: 0.0408 W/mK
Compressive strength: ≥ 57 kPa
Dimensional stability: At high temperature (70°C) and high relative humidity (90%), there is mainly a risk of expansion in the thickness direction (> 1%). In the length and width directions and at low temperature (-20°C), the risk of severe deformation is generally limited.
Water absorption: Absorbs moisture quickly during prolonged contact with water, with most of the water absorption measured after 28 days already taking place within the first 24 hours.
